Notes

1. Dietary & Allergy Information (Crucial)
Since this is a food-based activity, this is your most important note.
Note: “Please inform us of any nut, dairy, or soy allergies at the time of booking. While our craft chocolate is often vegan-friendly, it is produced in a facility that handles nuts.”
2. Arrival Time
You don’t want people arriving mid-way through the “Roasting” explanation.
Note: “Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session to check in. As this is a timed educational process, late arrivals may miss key parts of the experience.”
3. Sensory Guidelines (The “Pro” Note)
To truly appreciate the “Educational” side, guests need their senses to be sharp.
Note: “To fully appreciate the subtle aromas of the cacao, we recommend avoiding strong perfumes or colognes before the session. We also suggest avoiding very spicy foods or coffee immediately before the workshop.”
4. What to Wear / Hygiene
If they are getting close to the machinery or handling beans.
Note: “Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended. We will provide aprons and hairnets where necessary to comply with food safety standards.”
5. Age Restrictions
Is it suitable for toddlers? Probably not if it’s “educational.”
Note: “This experience is best suited for ages 8 and up due to the educational and technical nature of the chocolate-making process.”
6. Photography & Social Media
Encourage them to share, but set boundaries.
Note: “Photography is highly encouraged! Capture your journey from bean to bar and tag us. However, video recording of the full educational lecture is not permitted.”
